These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Lukani\u010devi. At this time, the origin of this name is unknown to us but it is feasible to conclude that the patriarch at this house was once a Luka or Luke.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found seventeen distinct houses which originally carried the Flajnik surname. This is the tenth of the seventeen houses (in order of house address). The Flajnik surname is only originally found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Flajnik b. 1770. He married Katarina (last name unknown) b. 1768 and had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Matija Flajnik b. 1796, m. 1836 to Ana Mravinec (Hrast 20) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Jurij Flajnik b. 1798, m. ca. 1822 to Ana Videti\u010d &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Johan Flajnik b. 1803, married to Marija \u0160pehar (Perudina 2) &#8212; they had their own house in the vineyard on the property.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Flajnik [1A]\u00a0 and his wife Ana Mravinec had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Jurij Flajnik b. 1842, m. 1866 to Marija Flajnik (Kova\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/\">Vukovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jurij Flajnik [1B] and his wife Ana Videti\u010d had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2B. Jurij Jur\u0161ini\u010d b. 1823, m. 1856 to Katarina Rutel &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Johan Jur\u0161ini\u010d b. 1826. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2D. Ana Flajnik b. 1833, m. 1859 to Johan Flajink (Hrast 15) &#8212; they lived at Hrast 32.<\/p>\n<p>2E. Katarina Flajnik b. 1837, m. 1870 to Jurij \u0160pehar (Perudina 2) &#8212; they lived at Hrast 44.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij Flajnik [2A] and his wife Marija Flajnik had 3 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Jurij Flajnik b. 1867, m. 1889 to Katarina \u0160utej (Kosmusova from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>) &#8212; they lived in Allegheny, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p>3B. Johan Flajnik b. 1874, m. 1905 to Terezija Bacikova (Kne\u017edub 79) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Johan Flajnik [3B] and his wife Terezija Bacikova had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>4A. Terezija Flajnik b. 1905, m. 1928 to Franc Sim\u010di\u010d (Ravidi\u010dev from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/\">Vukovci<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>4B. Marija Flajnik b. 1907. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>4C. Ana Flajnik b. 1909, m. 1939 to Franc Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-3-kaplanovi\/\">Kaplanov<\/a>)<sup>1<\/sup> &#8212; they lived at Hrast 9.<\/p>\n<p>4D. Johana Flajnik b. 1911, m. 1937 to Janez Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-3-kaplanovi\/\">Kaplanov<\/a>)<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>4E.
