These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Dolnji Turmarovi. At this time, the origin of this name is unknown to us. This family likely has a connection to the family at Hrast 7 that predates the books we have researched. The household name later changed to \u0160kolniki. This name suggests that at some point, a teacher lived at this house.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found seventeen distinct houses which originally carried the Flajnik surname. This is the sixth of the seventeen houses (in order of house address). The Flajnik surname is only originally found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Ana b. 1763. Together with her husband, they had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Ana Flajnik b. 1791, died at the age of 57. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Marko Flajnik b. 1793, died at the age of 57. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Miha Flajnik b. 1800, m. ca. 1827 to Ana \u0160utej &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Barbara Flajnik b. 1805. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Miha Flajnik [1C] and his wife Ana \u0160utej had 8 children:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Barbara Flajnik b. 1828, m. after 1874 to Miha Medo\u0161 (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-8-persetovi\/\">Per\u0161etov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/\">U\u010dakovci<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2B. Miha Flajnik b.1835, m. ca. 1862 to Barbara \u0160pehar (Perudina 2) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2E. Katarina Flajnik b.1838. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2F. Johan Flajnik b. 1840, m. 1868 to Ana Radovi\u010d (Radovi\u010deva from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at Vinica 49.<\/p>\n<p>2G. Jurij Flajnik b. 1843. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>2H. Matija Flajnik b. 1846. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ana Flajnik [2B] had one illegitimate child:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Johan Flajnik b. 1870. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Marija Flajnik b. 1870.
