These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house carries the name of Kaplanovi. This name is identical to the household name at Hrast 2. The reason for this is because the first owner we found was a direct descendant of the neighbouring family. At this time, it is unknown who lived here before them.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found seventeen distinct houses which originally carried the Flajnik surname. This is the second of the seventeen houses (in order of house address). The Flajnik surname is only originally found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vukovci\/\">Vukovci<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-2-kaplanovi\/\">Kaplanov<\/a>) b. 1805. He married Katarina Vlahovi\u010d b. 1807. Together, they had at least 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Jurij Flajnik b. 1831, m. 1862 to Ana Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-12\/\">Hrast 12<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Johan Flajnik b. 1835. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Matija Flajnik b. 1838, m. 1871 to Katarina Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/the-people\/perudina-11-kovacevi-stari-kovacevi\/\">Kova\u010dev<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-4\/\">Hrast 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Nikolaj Flajnik b. 1841, m. ca. 1867 to Marija Kavzleri\u0107 (Fu\u017eine) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/the-people\/perudina-11-kovacevi-stari-kovacevi\/\">Perudina 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>1E. Miha Flajnik b. 1844. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>1F. Marija Flajnik b. 1848, m. 1864 to Jurij Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/the-people\/perudina-9-doljanovi\/\">Doljanov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/perudina\/\">Perudina<\/a>).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jurij Flajnik [1A] and his wife Ana Flajnik had 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Jurij Flajnik b. 1863, m. 1887 to Marija Ostroni\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-9\/\">Golek pri Vinici 9<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2B. Marija Flajnik b. 1873, died at the age of 78. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Jakob Flajnik b. 1877, m. 1904 to Katarina \u0160u\u0161ter (Drenovec 14).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At this point, this Flajnik lineage ended at this house. Matija Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-4\/\">Hrast 4<\/a>) moved in with his wife Katarina Zatov\u0161ek.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Flajnik and his wife Katarina Zatov\u0161ek had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Matija Flajnik b. 1905, died at the age of 62. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>3B. Katarina Flajnik b. 1906. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Janez Flajnik b. 1908, m. 1937 to Johana Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-17-magaincevi\/\">Magain\u010deva<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>3D. Franc Flajnik b. 1911, m. 1939 to Ana Flajnik (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-17-magaincevi\/\">Magain\u010deva<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-9-tundekovi\/\">Hrast 9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3E. Jo\u017ee Flajnik b. 1913, died at the age of 29.
