While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Martinovi. The family that lived at this house are direct descendents of the Buba\u0161 family of U\u010dakovci 12<\/a> who are known as the Dolnji Buba\u0161i<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As this is a newer house in U\u010dakovci<\/a>, the existence of the Buba\u0161 surname does not count towards the number of original families with this surname.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Buba\u0161 (Dolnji Buba\u0161ov<\/a>) b. 1837. He married Barbara Papa (Mlinarova<\/a>). Together they had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Barbara Buba\u0161 b. 1866 in U\u010dakovci 15<\/a>, m. 1887 to Johan La\u0161i\u010d (Frankovi\u010dev from Nova Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1B. Matija Buba\u0161 b. 1871 in U\u010dakovci 12<\/a>. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

1C. Franc Buba\u0161 b. 1876 in U\u010dakovci 12<\/a>, m. 1897 to Marija Hudak (Kal\u010deva<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2A. Marija Buba\u0161 b. 1898. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

At this point, the original Buba\u0161 lineage ended and Franc Maljevac (Zidarov<\/a>) and his wife Angela Kasun (Kasuni 29) moved in.<\/p>\n
