These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of \u0160utejovi. It is suspected that the original family at this house was a \u0160utej family. Nevertheless, the house name did not change to the Papovi until the 20th century.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found five distinct houses which originally carried the Papa surname. This is the fourth of the five houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj Papa (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-15-mlinari\/\">Mlinarov<\/a>) b. 1780. He married Barbara Fugina. Together, they had at least 6 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Ana Papa b. 1827 in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-30-mladi-papovi\/\">U\u010dakovci 30<\/a>, m. 1849 to Miha Hudak (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-6-hudakovi-jursicki\/\">Hudakov<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1B. Barbara Papa b. 1834, m. ca. 1856 to Jurij Gor\u0161e (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-36\/\">Hrast 36<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1C. Matija Papa b. 1840, m. 1863 to Barbara Mihel\u010di\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-19-goricani\/\">Gori\u010dana<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Papa [1C] and his wife Barbara Mihel\u010di\u010d had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Barbara Papa b. 1864, m. 1891 to Matija Hudak (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-28-brticevi-strvcevi\/\">Brti\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2B. Ana Papa b. 1867, m. 1902 to Johan Jesih (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-11-jesihovi\/\">Jesihov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/\">Hrast<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-22-cveticevi-jesihovi\/\">U\u010dakovci 22<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Katarina Papa b. 1868, m. 1890 to Johan Bari\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-18-srednji-mikoci\/\">Srednji Miko\u010d<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/\">Stara Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2D. Helena Papa b. 1873, m. 1895 to Johan Lesica (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/dreznik\/the-people\/dreznik-7-lesicevi\/\">Le\u0161i\u010dev<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/dreznik\/\">Dre\u017enik<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2E. Marija Papa b. 1876, m. 1904 to Johan Rogina (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/the-people\/stara-lipa-16-gornji-tisljerovi\/\">Gornji Ti\u0161ljerov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/stara-lipa\/\">Stara Lipa<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2F. Franc Papa b. 1879, m. 1905 to Barbara \u0160nelar (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/kovacji-grad\/the-people\/kovacji-grad-2-polancevi\/\">Polan\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/kovacji-grad\/\">Kova\u010dji Grad<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2G. Jo\u017eefa Papa b. 1882, m. 1908 to a man from Fratrovci 14.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Franc Papa [2F] and his wife Barbara \u0160nelar had 8 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Johan Papa b. 1910, m. 1935 to Marija Fugina (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-19-goricani\/\">Gori\u010dana<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-5-kalcevi\/\">U\u010dakovci 5<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3C.
