These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Marko\u0161i, which is likely a reference to the man who originally established this household. It was later changed to Gori\u010dki when Stanislav Prok\u0161elj married into the house in 1949.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found seven distinct houses which originally carried the Mihel\u010di\u010d surname. This is the fourth of the seven houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for\u00a0the wife of the patriarch Barbara b. 1772. Together, with her husband, she had at least 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Miha Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1790, m. ca. 1818 to Barbara Papa &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Nikolaj Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1796, m. ca. 1825 to Ana Papa (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-26-jankovi\/\">Jankova<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Katarina Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1801. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Ana Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1809, m. 1834 to Miha Hudak (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-5-kalcevi\/\">Kal\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Miha Mihel\u010di\u010d [1A] and his wife Barbara Papa had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Miha Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1823, m. 1863 to Barbara Mihel\u010di\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-2-staregovi\/\">Staregova<\/a>)<sup>2<\/sup> &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2C. Marija Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1826, m. 1847 to Miha \u0160nelar (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/kovacji-grad\/the-people\/kovacji-grad-2-polancevi\/\">Polan\u010dev<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/kovacji-grad\/\">Kova\u010dji Grad<\/a>)<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>2D. Jurij Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1831, m. 1859 to Ana Mihel\u010di\u010d &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2E. Matija Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1834, m. 1873 to a woman from Zdihova 19.<\/p>\n<p>2F. Ana Mihel\u010di\u010d b. 1838, m. ca. 1861 to Matija Mihel\u010di\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/ucakovci\/the-people\/ucakovci-2-staregovi\/\">Staregov<\/a>)<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nikolaj Mihel\u010di\u010d [1B] and his wife Ana Papa had 1 child:<\/p>\n<p>2G. Johan Mihle\u010di\u010d b. 1826. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jurij Mihel\u010di\u010d [2D] and his wife Ana Mihel\u010di\u010d did not have any children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jurij Mihel\u010di\u010d [2D] m. 1859 to his second wife Ana Moravec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/the-people\/secje-selo-4-bahoricevi\/\">Bahori\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/secje-selo\/\">Se\u010dje Selo<\/a>).
