The house of the Izbrdovi of Zilje 55 is known as the stara Izbrdova<\/em> since it is the original house of the Izbrdovi, where they first lived before moving into the the household on the Dolnji Vrane\u0161i\u010di<\/a> at Zilje 11<\/a> in the 1930s. The Izbrdovi originate from Nikolaj \u017dalec (\u017dal\u010dev<\/a>) who built the house in 1902 with his wife Kata Vrane\u0161i\u010d (Dolnja Vrane\u0161i\u010deva<\/a>). The house still stands, but is uninhabited.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Nikolaj \u017dalec (\u017dal\u010dev<\/a>). He married Katarina \u010cemas (Dolnja Vrane\u0161i\u010deva<\/a>). Together they had 5 children:<\/p>\n

1A. Ana \u017dalec b. 1890, m. 1913 to Janko \u010cadoni\u010d (Kr\u010dmarov<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1B. Nikolaj \u017dalec b. 1892, died at the age of 27 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1C. Franc \u017dalec b. 1895, died at the age of 20. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1D. Ivan \u017dalec b. 1897, m. 1920 to Barbara Jaketi\u010d (Peru\u0161i\u010deva<\/a>) — they lived at Zilje 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1E. Jurij \u017dalec b. 1902, m. 1922 to Barbara Balkovec (Vukova<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

Janko \u010cadoni\u010d and his wife Ana \u017dalec [1A] had 3 children:<\/p>\n

2A. Frank Cadonic b. ca. 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

2B. Herma A Cadonic b. ca. 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

2C. Agnes B Cadonic b. ca. 1928 in Ohio. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n
