While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house originally carried the name of Brozovi\u010di, which likely is a reference to the family that originally lived at this household. It was later changed to Pavle\u0161i\u010di when the original Brozovi\u010d lineage ended and Janez Pavle\u0161i\u010d moved in with his wife.<\/p>\n

Through the period of our studies, we have found two distinct houses which originally carried the Brozovi\u010d surname. This is the second of the two houses (in order of house address). The other Brozovi\u010d household–the Mikulini<\/a> or Krav\u010devi<\/a>–are an offshoot of this family.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Brozovi\u010d b. 1765. He married Barbara \u0160peli\u010d b. 1780. Together, they had at least 9 children, including:<\/p>\n
