The 1690 <em>Urbarium<\/em> documents a Miho Pavli\u010di\u010d (Micho Paulischitsch) in the \u017eupa of <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a> in charge of a mill on the Kolpa river.<\/p>\n<p>We know the following individuals to inhabit Pavlini were with surname Ivanovi\u010d. This was first documented in the marriage registers on 1753. This house was numbered earliest as Zilje 4, then later renumbered in the early 1800s as Balkovci 5.<\/p>\n<p>Sometime in the late 1700s, the household split, both retaining the name Pavlinski, and both surname Ivanovi\u010d. The lineage at the new household to the west (numbered Balkovci 21) ended in the mid 1800s when Marko \u010cadoni\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/dolnje-zilje\/zilje-21-kosuti\/\">Ko\u0161utov<\/a>) moved into the house with his wife.
