There is a record of a marriage in 1774 between a Helena Mureti\u010d from <a title=\"Zilje\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a> and a Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d from <a title=\"Podklanec\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a>, and while we cannot yet link this marriage to the lineages of families with the Vrane\u0161i\u010d surname, it would explain the end of the Mureti\u010d surname in <a title=\"Zilje\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>. Most living <a title=\"Zilje\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Ziljani<\/a> regard the household at Zilje 10 as the Matki.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d (<a title=\"Dolnji Vrane\u0161i\u010di-Izbrdovi\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/mureticevo-selo\/zilje-11-dolnji-vranesici-izbrdovi\/\">Dolnji Vrane\u0161i\u010dev<\/a>). He married Marija Male\u0161i\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/podklanec-22-capori\/\">\u010caporova<\/a> from <a title=\"Podklanec\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a>). Together they had 10 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d b. 1873, m. 1896 to Marko Bro\u017ei\u010d (<a title=\"Gornji Brozi\u010di\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/central-gornje-zilje\/zilje-9-gornji-brozici\/\">Gornji Bro\u017ei\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1E. Franc Vrane\u0161i\u010d b. 1876, m. 1904 to Barbara Stare\u0161i\u010dic (<a title=\"\u0160peli\u010di\" href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/gorenjci\/zilje-37-spelici\/\">\u0160peli\u010deva<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1F. Peter Vrane\u0161i\u010d b. 1877, died at the age of 24 in Colorado. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1G. Helena Vrane\u0161i\u010d b. 1882, died at the age of 29 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d [1A] and his wife Marija \u0160utej had 2 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>in Pittsburgh, then one at Zilje 10 when they moved back, then 4 more in Illinois, USA:<\/p>\n<p>2A.
