While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house does not have any specific household name documented anywhere.<\/p>\n

Golek<\/a> is the only village in the Vinica<\/a> parish where the Ostroni\u010d appears.<\/p>\n

Through the period of our studies, we have found 4 distinct houses which carried the Ostroni\u010d surname. This is the first of the four houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch, Katarina b. 1774. The lack of a father’s name in this house suggests that this may have been a family which was an offshoot from one of the other Golek Ostroni\u010d families. The patriarch and Katarina had at least 1 child:<\/p>\n

1A. Peter Ostroni\u010d b. 1800, m. ca. 1817 to Ana Grgura\u0161 — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

3C. Jo\u017eef Ostroni\u010d b. 1862. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

3D. Marija Ostroni\u010d b. 1864, married Jurij Karin (Gornji Karinov<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>).<\/p>\n

3E. Ana Ostroni\u010d b. 1867. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

3F. Johan Ostroni\u010d b. 1869. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n
