These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house was originally known was the Srednji Stegnetovi. This house name was derived from the family that lived here as well as its position in the village to other Stegne households.<\/p>\n<p>Stegne appears to be a last name that is primarily found in this village. This is the second of the two houses (in order of house address).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found for a person from this house is for Matija Stegne b. 1785. He married Ana Moravec b. 1787. Together they had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Marija Stegne b. 1813, m. 1839 to Matija Miroslavi\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-1-tomicevi\/\">Tomi\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>1B. Matija Stegne b. 1816, m. ca. 1840 to Katarina Vlahovi\u010d &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Nikolaj Stegne b.1820. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Johan Stegne b. 1826, died at the age of 63.
