These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house does not have a recorded household name but for the purposes of this document, they will be referred to as the Dolnji Stegnetovi as it reflects the location of this house relative to the other Stegne house in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stegne appears to be a last name that is primarily found in this village. There are household names that use the Stegne name in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a> but they find their roots in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found 2 distinct houses which carried the Stegne surname. He married Katarina b. 1781 and had at least 1 child, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Nikolaj Stegne b. 1797, m. ca. 1816 to Marija Vlahovi\u010d &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Nikolaj Stegne [1A] and his wife Marija Vlahovi\u010d had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A.
