While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house does not have a recorded household name but for the purposes of this document, they will be referred to as the Grgura\u0161i as it reflects the surname of the oldest family on record to have lived at this house.<\/p>\n
The last name, Grgura\u0161 was historically written in several different forms including Gregura\u0161, Gregora\u0161 and Grgura\u0161. For simplicity, we have documented all of these people as Grgura\u0161 as that is the last name that was used most recently.<\/p>\n
In our earliest documents, there is also evidence of a Bro\u017ei\u010d family living at this same house. At this time, there is no concrete evidence that shows a connection between the two families but it is quite probable that Ana Bro\u017ei\u010d b. 1758 was previously married to the former patriarch of the house who was a Bro\u017ei\u010d and had children with him. For the sake of simplicity, since that family later moved to Golek 15, they will all be included only on that page.<\/p>\n
The oldest record we have found for a person from this house is for Johan Grgura\u0161 b. 1755. He married Ana Bro\u017ei\u010d b. 1758 and had at least 1 child:<\/p>\n

Matija Grgura\u0161 b. 1843, m. 1876 to Ana Stanko (Mu\u017enovi<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n 2H. Ana Grgura\u0161 b. 1847, m. 1879 to Miha Per\u0161eti\u010d (Vinica 16).<\/p>\n Johan Grgura\u0161 [2C] and his wife Katarina Gor\u0161e had 2 children:<\/p>\n 3A. Johan Grgura\u0161 b. 1859. He died in the United States. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n 3B. Jurij Grgura\u0161 b. 1863. Katarina Grgura\u0161 b. 1884, m. 1908 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Janez Adle\u0161i\u010d (Gorenjci pri Adle\u0161i\u010di).<\/p>\n 3E. Johana Grgura\u0161 b. 1889. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n Johan Hudak and his wife Ana Grgura\u0161 [3C] never had children.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ana Grgura\u0161 [3C] m. 1905 to her second husband Jo\u017ee Miketi\u010d (Gorenjci pri Adle\u0161i\u010di 11).
