While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence. The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either. Another contributing factor to this lack of a household name may also be the size of a settlement. Ogulin<\/a> at its peak only had 10 houses which may have lead to a lack of \u201cofficial\u201d household names being documented in church documents. Everyone knew everyone so there was no real need to uniquely identify households. Nonetheless, even though they are not documented, household names still exist for these families today.<\/p>\n

The dominant surname at this house is Trempus. Although unconfirmed at this time, it is possible that the Matija Trempus who started his family here was from the Rajkovi\u010di house in Vinica.<\/p>\n

\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Ana b. 1755. Together, with her husband, she had at least 2 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Johan Trempus b. 1773, m. ca. 1808 to Marija Mravinec — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1B. Matija Trempus b. 1784, m. ca. 1813 to Marija Tomec — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n
