While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically referred to that family. This house carries the name of Grdunkini. The origin of the name is related to the original patriarch of this house, Johan Pavlakovi\u010d from Grduni<\/a>. Even though this house was inhabited by a Pavlakovi\u010d family, that surname only lasted for one generation before it was changed to Kajin. This is the second house which is an offshoot from the Gornji Kajinovi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Pavlakovi\u010d (Miki\u010dev from Grduni<\/a>) b. 1849. He married Barbara Ostroni\u010d (Golek pri Vinici 7<\/a>) b. 1854. Together they had 7 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Barbara Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1876, m. 1898 to Jurij Kajin (Gornji Kajinov<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1B. Ana Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1879. At this time, it is unknown what happened to her afterwards.<\/p>\n

1C. Johan Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1881, m. 1905 to Marija Mravinec (Maljevacova<\/a> from Perudina<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1D. Marija Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1884, m. 1904 to Johan Flajnik (Ziljanov<\/a> from Hrast<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1E. Jo\u017ee Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1886, m. 1908 to Johana Gor\u0161e (Mi\u0161i\u010deva<\/a> from Hrast<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1F. Katarina Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1888, m. 1910 to Johan Rogina (Golek pri Vinici 12<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1G. Johana Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1893, died at the age of 76. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

2A. Marija Pavlakovi\u010d b. 1906, m. 1930 to Franc Kobeti\u010d (Kova\u010dov<\/a> from Dre\u017enik<\/a>).<\/p>\n

At this point, the Pavlakovi\u010d lineage ends at this house. Jurij Kajin (Gornji Kajinov<\/a>) (son of Jurij Kajin and Barbara Pavlakovi\u010d [1A]) lived here with his wife Ana Balkovec (Maradinova<\/a> from Zilje<\/a>).<\/p>\n
