The household names for these houses is therefore lost as it was not documented anywhere either.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the houses that is considered a \u201cnew house\u201d as the numbering no longer carries a east to west orientation. The house at Podklanec 37 is a house with a short history. With most houses in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a> spanning 5 or more generations, this one only has evidence of occupancy for 1 generation. While it is not clear where this house actually existed, it was likely located somewhere near the border between <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/\">Gornji Podklanec<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/dolnji-podklanec\/\">Dolnji Podklanec<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found only one house which originally carried the Stegne surname in Podklanec. The Stegne surname is only originally found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek pri Vinici<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for the wife of the patriarch Katarina Stegne b. 1781. Together, with her husband, she had at least 3 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Matija Stegne b. 1803, died at the age of 35. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Jo\u017eef Stegne b. 1808, died at the age of 47. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Ana Stegne b. 1813, m. ca. 1838 to Jo\u017ee Mravinec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-4-mravinci\/\">Mravin\u010dev<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek<\/a>).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jo\u017ee Mravinec and his wife Ana Stegne [1C] had 5 children in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-4-mravinci\/\">Golek pri Vinici 4<\/a>, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Ana Mravinec b. 1850, m. 1876 to Jo\u017ee Miroslavi\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/podklanec-16\/\">Podklanec 16<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Jo\u017ee Miroslavi\u010d and his wife Ana Mravinec [2A] had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Jo\u017ee Miroslavi\u010d b. 1882 in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/podklanec-16\/\">Podklanec 16<\/a>. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>3B. Franc Miroslavi\u010d b. 1889. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jo\u017ee Miroslavi\u010d m. 1890 to his second wife Helene Beneti\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-5-beneticevi\/\">Beneti\u010deva<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/\">Golek<\/a>) &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/golek-pri-vinici\/the-people\/golek-pri-vinici-1-tomicevi\/\">Golek pri Vinici 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While most houses in Slovenia carry a household name, there are some houses which do not exist anymore and were deserted many years before anyone was aware of their existence.
