These names are how other people typically refer to that family. This house carries the name of \u010capori. At this time, the origins of this name is unknown to us.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found four distinct houses which originally carried the Male\u0161i\u010d surname in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a>. This is the third of the four houses (in order of house address). The Male\u0161i\u010d surname is only originally found in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a> as well as some villages on the other side of the Kolpa in Croatia.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1777. He married Katarina Benec b. 1780. Together, they had at least 5 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Matija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1802, m. ca. 1824 to Ana Flajnik &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Jurij Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1807, died at the age of 39. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1C. Johan Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1810, died at the age of 56. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>1D. Nikolaj Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1813, m. 1842 to a Croatian woman.<\/p>\n<p>1E. Miha Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1817, m. 1868 to Barbara Jur\u0161ini\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/hrast-pri-vinici\/the-people\/hrast-pri-vinici-15\/\">Hrast 15<\/a>).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Male\u0161i\u010d [1A] and his wife Ana Flajnik had at least 7 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>2A. Ana Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1824, m. 1844 to Johan Moravec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/podklanec-21-gornji-moravci-dolnji-moravci\/\">Gornji Morav\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2B. Barbara Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1827, m. 1857 to Jurij Berkopec (Berkop\u010dev from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/vinica\/\">Vinica<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2C. Katarina Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1831, m. 1859 to Matija Stanko (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/the-people\/gornji-podklanec\/podklanec-36-muznovi\/\">Mu\u017enov<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>2D. Matija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1835, m. 1863 to Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/mureticevo-selo\/zilje-11-dolnji-vranesici-izbrdovi\/\">Dolnja Vrane\u0161i\u010dova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>)<sup>1<\/sup> &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>2E. Marija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1840, m. 1863 to Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/mureticevo-selo\/zilje-11-dolnji-vranesici-izbrdovi\/\">Dolnji Vrane\u0161i\u010dov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>)<sup>1<\/sup> &#8212; they lived at <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/mureticevo-selo\/zilje-10-gornji-vranesici-matki\/\">Zilje 10<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><sup>1. <em>Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d and Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d were siblings.<\/em><\/sup><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Male\u0161i\u010d [2D] and his wife Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3A. Marija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1865, died at the age of 36. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n<p>3B. Matija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1867, m. 1899 to Ana Tahija (Glavica 34) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>3C. Johan Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1871. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d m. 1872 to her second husband Andrej Balkovec (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/srednje-zilje\/zilje-15-maradini\/\">Maradinov<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>). Together they had 3 children, including:<\/p>\n<p>3D. Franc Balkovec b. 1879, m. in the United States to a Marija Jur\u0161ini\u010d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Matija Male\u0161i\u010d [3B] and his wife Ana Tahija had 2 children:<\/p>\n<p>4A. Valentin Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1899 in Spahi\u010di 4, m. 1925 to Marija Medo\u0161 (Drenovec 15) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>4B.
