While every house in Slovenia has a civic address, many houses also carry a household name. These names are how other people typically refer to that family. This house carries the name of \u010capori. At this time, the origins of this name is unknown to us.<\/p>\n

Through the period of our studies, we have found four distinct houses which originally carried the Male\u0161i\u010d surname in Podklanec<\/a>. This is the third of the four houses (in order of house address). The Male\u0161i\u010d surname is only originally found in Podklanec<\/a> as well as some villages on the other side of the Kolpa in Croatia.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Johan Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1777. He married Katarina Benec b. 1780. Together, they had at least 5 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Matija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1802, m. ca. 1824 to Ana Flajnik — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1B. Jurij Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1807, died at the age of 39. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1C. Johan Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1810, died at the age of 56. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1D. Nikolaj Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1813, m. 1842 to a Croatian woman.<\/p>\n

1E. Miha Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1817, m. 1868 to Barbara Jur\u0161ini\u010d (Hrast 15<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Matija Male\u0161i\u010d [1A] and his wife Ana Flajnik had at least 7 children, including:<\/p>\n

2A. Ana Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1824, m. 1844 to Johan Moravec (Gornji Morav\u010dev<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2B. Barbara Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1827, m. 1857 to Jurij Berkopec (Berkop\u010dev from Vinica<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2C. Katarina Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1831, m. 1859 to Matija Stanko (Mu\u017enov<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2D. Matija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1835, m. 1863 to Ana Vrane\u0161i\u010d (Dolnja Vrane\u0161i\u010dova<\/a> from Zilje<\/a>)1<\/sup> — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2E. Marija Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1840, m. 1863 to Matija Vrane\u0161i\u010d (Dolnji Vrane\u0161i\u010dov<\/a> from Zilje<\/a>)1<\/sup> — they lived at Zilje 10<\/a>.<\/p>\n
