The name Pintari originates with the same man who is responsible for the change in surname at this house, Zilje 41. Miha Grabrijan (Pintarov) from Preloka 24 married into this house in 1891. The house itself, however, was built by Jurij Jaketi\u010d (Lugarov<\/a>) sometime between 1854 and 1858, and its name, according to the status animarum<\/em>, was simply Maji\u0161\u010dari. It is not clear why Jurij left the Lugari<\/a> and his younger brother stayed at home and took ownership.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Jaketi\u010d. He married Marija Krotec (Petolasova from Grduni<\/a>). Together they had 4 children, including:<\/p>\n

1A. Helena Jaketi\u010d b. 1840, m. ca. 1882 to Johan \u017dalec (\u017dal\u010dev<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1B. Marija Jaketi\u010d b. 1842, died at the age of 60. At this time, it is unknown if she was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

1C. Barbara Jaketi\u010d b. 1846, m. 1878 to Jurij Bro\u017ei\u010d (Bro\u017ei\u010dev<\/a> from Golek<\/a>).<\/p>\n

1D. Jurij Jaketi\u010d b. 1849. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

Jure Jaketi\u010d m. 1850 to his second wife Ana \u017dalec (Brdarska<\/a>). Together they had 5 children, including:<\/p>\n

1E. Katarina Jaketi\u010d b. 1851, m. 1872 to Johan Mali\u010d from (Vinica 3) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1F. Magdalena Jaketi\u010d b. 1859, m. 1891 to Miha Grabrijan (Pintarov from Brdo<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

1G. Franca Jaketi\u010d b. 1864, m. ca. 1891 to Marko Benec (Marki\u010dev<\/a> from Podklanec<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

Johan \u017dalec and his wife Helena Jaketi\u010d [1A] had 1 child which died in infancy.<\/p>\n

Johan Mali\u010d and his wife Katarina Jaketi\u010d [1E] had 7 children which died in infancy or early childhood.<\/p>\n

Miha Grabrijan and his wife Magdalena Jaketi\u010d [1D] had 3 children, including:<\/p>\n

2A. Miha Grabrijan b. 1883, m. 1911 to Marija Balkovec (Maradinova<\/a>) — they remained at this house.<\/p>\n

2B. Franc Grabrijan b. 1894 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, died at the age of 30. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

2C. Katarina Grabrijan b. 1896 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, m. 1919 to Marko \u010cemas (Maji\u0161\u010darski<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Miha Grabrijan [2B] and his wife Marija Balkovec had 9 children, including:<\/p>\n

3A. Franc Grabrijan b. 1911, died at the age of 44. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n

3B. Jo\u017ee Grabrijan b. 1914. At this time, it is unknown what happened to him afterwards.<\/p>\n

3C. Miha Grabrijan .b: 1916, died at the age of 26 in Rab. At this time, it is unknown if he was ever married or had children.<\/p>\n
