The area is part of the traditional region of <a title=\"Lower Carniola\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lower_Carniola\">Lower Carniola<\/a> and is now included in the <a title=\"Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Southeast_Slovenia_Statistical_Region\">Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is a small 17th-century church in the settlement. It is dedicated to the <a title=\"Holy Spirit\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Holy_Spirit\">Holy Spirit<\/a> (<a title=\"Slovene language\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Slovene_language\">Slovene<\/a>: <span lang=\"sl\"><i>Sveti Duh<\/i><\/span>) and belongs to the <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/\">Parish of Vinica<\/a>.
