These names are how other people typically refer to that family. This house carries the name of Bra\u010dkovi. At this time, we are not certain of where this name originated.<\/p>\n<p>Through the period of our studies, we have found 4 distinct houses in <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a> which carried the Male\u0161i\u010d surname. This is the second of the three houses (in order of house address). The Male\u0161i\u010d surname is only originally found in the village of <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/vinica\/podklanec\/\">Podklanec<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The oldest records we have found to date for a person from this house is for several siblings, including:<\/p>\n<p>1A. Helena Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1778, had 1 illegitimate child &#8212; she remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1B. Nikolaj Male\u0161i\u010d b. 1781, m. ca. 1814 to Barbara \u010cemas (<a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/the-people\/gornje-zilje\/central-gornje-zilje\/zilje-5-cemasi-dolnji-stegneti\/\">\u010cemasova<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/gfamilytree.com\/history\/the-places-we-come-from\/bela-krajina-white-carniola\/crnomelj\/preloka\/zilje\/\">Zilje<\/a>) &#8212; they remained at this house.<\/p>\n<p>1C.
