The area is part of the traditional region of <a title=\"Lower Carniola\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lower_Carniola\">Lower Carniola<\/a> and is now included in the <a title=\"Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Southeast_Slovenia_Statistical_Region\">Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The history of this settlement is quite short. At this time, we suspect that it was only formally established between 1780 and 1800.
