The original surname at the Stegneti household was Jaketi\u010d. Ive \u010cadoni\u010d (Kr\u010dmarov<\/a>) married into this household in 1832 and started the \u010cadoni\u010d lineage that remained. He died, however, ca. 1850, and his wife remarried Mate Stegne from Golek 3<\/a>, resulting in the name Stegneti. The Stegneti household at Zilje 3 became known as the Gornji Stegneti when the household was split between two brothers, creating the Dolnji Stegneti<\/a> at the new Zilje 47<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The oldest record we have found to date for a person from this house is for Jurij Jaketi\u010d. He married Katarina \u0160imec. Together, they had at least 2 children, including:<\/p>\n
